A Solo Exhibition by Kim Hannan
July 1–31, 2026
ECAA Gallery 2 · 124 E Main St · El Cajon, CA
Opening Reception
Thursday, July 3 · 5–7pm · Free and open to the public
This show has been a long time in the making — and you're invited to be part of it.
"Stories Worth Telling" brings together two bodies of work that share a single conviction: that the art worth making begins with a story worth preserving.
The Natura Collection features conservation-inspired paintings drawn from wildlife, botanicals, and travel — photography captured in nature's most protected places, transformed through oils, pastels, chalks, and watercolor into works that are both luminous and enduring. Landscapes from across America and travels abroad round out the collection, each rendered with the same painterly depth that defines the work.
The Masterpiece Collection invites you into something quieter and deeply personal — portrait paintings each uniquely designed to include meaningful objects, in purposeful settings, surrounding beloved people, reflecting the quiet dignity of a life well lived.
Together, these pieces reflect everything I believe about why art matters: it honors what is most important, and it passes that forward.
Gallery hours are Wednesday, 3pm-7pm and Thursday through Saturday, 10am–3pm throughout July. Admission is always free.
Whether you come for the Opening Reception on July 3 or stop in any day during the month, I'd love for you to see this work in person. Come as you are. Bring someone you love. Stay as long as you like.
