I’m Kim Hannan, and I help people like you bring the beauty of nature into their homes.

I'm a wife, mom & grandmom who spent many years packing up and moving around the country as a Navy wife. It wasn’t the kind of life that builds a tidy résumé, but it gave me stories, friendships, and a deep love for the places we called home along the way.

When my husband and I retired from our full-time jobs, I finally had the space to dig into the art that’s always been part of who I am.

For years I painted portraits and private commissions, but little by little I found myself pulled toward painting the things that speak most to my heart—birds and other wildlife, flowers, landscapes, and those iconic scenes you just can’t forget once you’ve seen them.

Retirement afforded me the time needed to start experimenting and blending a variety of media that have traditionally been big "no-no's."

It wasn’t necessarily easy, but this new challenge invigorated my creative spirit. I found ways to mix the use of oils, chalks, pastels and even watercolor washes on my canvas and amazing images emerged.

That’s how this collection came to life. Each piece begins with my own photography, then becomes something new through brush and paint. Now you can find these works as fine art prints in my online shop—meant for everyday homes and workspaces, not just galleries.
