Art That Tells a Story
You’re someone who doesn’t settle—for your home, your values, or your vision. Whether it’s your passion for nature, your commitment to conservation, or your appreciation for a thoughtfully curated space, you want what surrounds you to mean something.
But finding artwork that feels personal, meaningful, and masterfully created isn’t always easy.
That’s where I come in.

I’m Kim Hannan, and I create narrative-driven fine art that I call “Stories Worth Telling” — moments of beauty, place, and presence drawn from landscapes, lives, travel, botanicals, and wildlife.
A Life That Shaped the Work
My artistic instinct emerged early, from picking out melodies on the piano at age three to drawing and painting with unusual depth as a child. A first camera at age ten introduced me to the power of light, focus, and composition—an influence that continues to shape my work today.
I studied music at the University of Kentucky School of Fine Arts, training in piano and voice while also exploring theatrical design. This multidisciplinary foundation informs the compositional strength and storytelling structure within my visual art.
As a Navy wife, I spent years moving across the country, gathering experiences that didn’t build a traditional résumé, but did shape a rich and meaningful life. Each place, each season, left its mark—deepening my appreciation for both the natural world and the stories we carry with us.
When my husband and I stepped into retirement, I finally had the space to fully pursue what had long been part of me: creating art that reflects not just what we see, but what we value.
In my mid-forties, I trained alongside fine art portraitists, refining my approach to both photography and painting and developing my signature narrative style.
Today, my collections—including the Natura Collection—merge original photography with painterly refinement, creating a distinctive blend of hyperrealism and impressionistic softness. Each piece is developed as a visual narrative, inviting the viewer into a moment both personal and enduring.

For the Spaces You Care About
These pieces are created to live with you.
Whether placed in a thoughtfully designed home, a professional space, or given as a meaningful gift, each work is intended to do more than fill a wall. It invites reflection, connection, and a sense of presence.
Some collectors are drawn to the beauty of the subject. Others connect with the story behind it. Many find both.
However it speaks to you, my hope is that each piece becomes part of your environment—and part of your legacy—where the story continues to unfold over time.
