Every artist's path is shaped by change — some of it chosen, some of it not. In this talk, I'll share how mine unfolded: from years spent behind a portrait camera, through decades of raising a family, to the studio where I now paint from my own wildlife and botanical photography.
Reinvention isn't a single leap. It's a series of smaller decisions — to keep showing up, to try a new medium, to trust that the work still has something to say even when the path forward isn't clear. I'll talk about what stayed constant through those shifts, what I had to let go of, and how Stories Worth Telling — my current exhibition here at ECAA Gallery 2 — reflects that…
