Adventures Yield Art

When I travel, I carry two faithful companions: my husband, Markus, and my camera. For us, adventure has never been a sudden whirlwind—it has unfolded over decades, patiently waiting for its moment.
Years ago, Markus promised we would see Venice together. Life, children, and military duty filled the in-between years, but that promise lingered. And when we finally arrived in Italy, it wasn’t just a trip; it was the fulfillment of a story we had been writing side by side all along.
My camera captured the shimmer of canals, the sunlit piazzas, the quiet corners where time seemed to pause. Yet the photographs are only the beginning. Back in my studio, I return to those moments brushstroke by brushstroke, letting each scene transform into fine art. A crumbling archway becomes a memory preserved. A gondola’s reflection becomes a rhythm of color and light.
This is the heart of Natura Art: journeys made permanent, memories translated into paintings, adventures yield the art I share with you.. Whether cityscapes, landscapes, or glimpses of wildlife along the way, every piece carries with it not just what I saw, but the layered story of a life lived, traveled, and loved.
Because sometimes, the greatest adventure is how we choose to remember.
